About Us

What is Key Club?

Key Club is not about making keys. It is actually a student-led international service program for high school students. The core values of Key Club are to perform service events, building character, developing leadership skills, and promoting inclusiveness.

Who are we at VHS Key Club?

We, at Valencia Key Club, are one of the many lucky clubs a part of Division 30, Region 3, CNH District, and of course - Key Club International! Our goal as a club has always been to serve the community and to continuously "uphold the objects of Key Club International".

What is the Key Club Structure?

Starting at the very top are the members who are each a part of an individual club on a participating high school campus. Multiple of those clubs come together to form a division; we are part of Division 30 North. D30N gets together once a month at DCM’s, or Division Council Meetings, to discuss our division's achievements and future plans. Furthermore, multiple divisions form a region and those regions then form a district. We, Valencia Key Club, are a part of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District (CNH). Lastly, multiple districts make up the highest level of structure: Key Club International.

Key Club Pledge

"I pledge on my honor to uphold the objects of Key Club International. To build my home, school, and community. To serve my nation and world. And to combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions."

Serve the Community

One of Key Club’s primary objectives is to serve the community in a wide range of service projects to not only allow members to gain easy service hours but also be able to show their passion for a specific project we do. For instance, in May 2020, Valencia Key Club hosted a mask drive at a senior community. We donated over 160 homemade masks.

Fundraise

Another objective is to fundraise for some charities we work hands-on with such as UNICEF, PTP, March of Dimes, and Children’s Miracle Network. We hold fundraisers at restaurants such as Canes or Sharetea as well as ice skating/roller skating fundraisers.

Showing Spirit

One way you can show your Key Club spirit is by attending the Fall Rally South, which is the biggest Key Club event of the year. Clubs from all over Southern California and Las Vegas come together to celebrate fundraising and community service accomplishments. Every member can show their spirit by wearing purple gear and representing Division 30 North.
